Christine Owen
Founding Attorney
I started Discount Lawyers because I’ve spent my whole career believing that good legal help shouldn’t be reserved for people who can afford to overpay for it.
Before this, I founded and built one of the largest law firms in Las Vegas — a practice that helped more than 30,000 people across our community with bankruptcy, family law, criminal defense, and personal injury matters. Behind that number is what I’m actually proud of: 30,000 real people, at some of the hardest moments of their lives, who got a real advocate in their corner. It was intense, meaningful work, and it taught me how to fight for clients and how to build something that reaches the people who need it.
A little about me: I’m a proud Nevadan, born and raised in Las Vegas, and a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. (Go Golden Knights!) When I’m not practicing law, you’ll find me spending time with my son, tending to my small zoo of pets at home, or out for a run.
Kathia Quiros
Founding Attorney
Kathia came to Las Vegas from Lima, Peru, at 23 — with hard work, faith, and a mission to serve. More than two decades later, that mission hasn’t changed.
With over 22 years of experience in immigration and estate planning, she has spent her career protecting families and the futures they’ve worked so hard to build. She knows firsthand what’s at stake, and she meets every client with the dignity and respect they deserve.
She’s also a familiar voice to hundreds of thousands of immigrants across the country — host of Inmigrando con Kathia, a daily live show, and Voces Unidas con Kathia, a Friday podcast amplifying the Latino stories that deserve to be heard. A mother of four, a motivational speaker, and a tireless advocate for human rights, she brings that same heart to every person she helps.
